Hello! We are Mark and Michelle Messina, the owners of Messina Lawn Care, a local, family-run business serving area since 1999. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a heartfelt mission, to care for the lawns in our community as if they were our own.
After spending years in the corporate world, Mark felt the call to create something more meaningful, something rooted in family, faith, and service. So with young children at home and a lot of determination, we launched Messina Lawn Care. From day one, our goal has been simple: to provide safe, honest, high-quality, personalized lawn care to our neighbors.
As a Christian family, our faith deeply influences everything we do, from how we treat our customers to how we care for the environment. We believe in kindness, integrity, and doing right by others. That means showing up on time, doing the job well, and treating every lawn like it’s the one our own kids (and now grandkids!) are rolling around on.
With two grandsons recently added to the family in 2025, we’re more committed than ever to creating safe, healthy outdoor spaces where families can relax, play, and make memories. We’ve spent countless hours on our own grass with children and pets, so we know how important it is to have a lawn that’s not just beautiful, but also safe.
We take great pride in staying up to date with the latest in turf science and plant health. With degrees from Rutgers University and ongoing education through industry seminars and training, our team brings expert knowledge and a personal touch to every lawn we service.
